This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, share, and use personal data about you, the data subject, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.


We are committed to protecting your information and being transparent about what personal data we collect and how we use it, acting responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws in Brazil (Law No. 13,709 of August 14, 2018) and countries with which we do business.


What your personal data is and how we collect it:


At Sabiá, we collect personal data upon authorization of the owners for the following processes: CRM (Customer Relationship Management) prospecting and management, customer service and relationship (including event management), media management (e.g. digital/online campaigns), supplier management, people management and financial/accounting management.


We only collect and process Personal Data about you when there is consent (whenever you have consented), contract (where processing is necessary to enter into the contract with you (e.g. to deliver the services your company has contracted for) and legitimate interest (where necessary to comply with tax and accounting laws, for example).


This data can be collected both offline and online.


Online data is collected in a structured and identifiable way through application forms on our website and digital campaigns run on our own behalf. And also from interactions with prospects, customers, suppliers, job applicants and staff that take place via email, Trello Board, WhatsApp or in work meetings.


In addition, we use cookies (not the sweet ones, but “web beacons”) and analytics tags to non-individually monitor your visit to our website and/or social media and digital campaign links.


Offline information about you originates from our interactions with you, for example during face-to-face meetings or at events, conferences or workshops where we meet and exchange contacts (e.g: business cards).


The data collected by us are: first name, last name, social network profile, e-mail, telephone, company, job title, geographic macro-location. In situations where we have established business relationships, we may also collect information such as birthday, home address and billing address. At Sabiá, we do not collect, process or store sensitive data, nor data from children and adolescents.


When we serve our customers as operators, and not data controllers under their responsibility, we may collect data from e-mail delivery platforms, digital social media campaigns and other registration forms.


How we use your personal data:


In general, the Personal Data we collect is used to respond to requests you make, or to help us serve you better. The Sabiá team may use your personal data, individually or collectively, collected in accordance with the above for the following purposes:


> understand the needs of prospects and clients, in order to offer commercial and/or partnership proposals that adhere to their expectations;

> improve our services;

> answer your questions and requests;

> formalize commercial agreements;

> allow you to access and use the services you have contracted with us when representing a company;

> analyze the behavior and trends of the users of our digital platforms and campaigns in order to improve our communication processes;

> to contact you: where you have requested or authorized us to do so, and whenever necessary to notify you of changes or updates to our services;

> to engage and communicate with staff, our partners and suppliers;

> to perform financial procedures, such as payment to suppliers and staff;

> to manage event registrations.


In addition, when we act as data processors on behalf of clients who are controllers, we use the Personal Data collected to enable such clients to perform the above activities.


How we store and share Personal Data:


Sabiá guarantees that it will not sell or rent your Personal Data to any person or company.


Your data may be communicated to Agência Sabiá staff and third-party suppliers and service providers contracted to provide financial services, media management and/or other activities to support our business and operations.


All persons with access to Personal Data that we control and/or operate have activities related to operations that require access to this information, which are described in the previous chapter, and receive guidance on legal requirements and internal procedures to ensure the confidentiality of their information.


Additionally, we may disclose your Personal Data if necessary to prevent, detect or prosecute illegal or suspicious activities or to prevent other harm or in response to legal action or to enforce our rights and claims. We may also have access to your Personal Data by any competent law enforcement regulatory body, government agency, court or other third party where disclosure is legally required.


When we act as data operators for controlling clients (when we create a communication campaign or an event for a client, for example), it is possible that data will be transferred to them. These clients will not always be based in Brazil, but may be based in other countries in the Americas – e.g., the United States, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Argentina. In these cases, your authorization for the collection, treatment and storage of data will be previously obtained from your acceptance of the privacy policy of the client responsible.


We also emphasize that the Personal Data that you provide us may be stored, processed and/or transferred on digital platforms with access controls, some of them with cloud hosting outside Brazil. Therefore, please note that Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you are located. These countries may have different, and potentially less protective, data protection laws than the laws in your own country.



How Long We Store Your Personal Data:


Your Personal Data will be kept for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.


Sabiá undertakes not to retain your personal information from the moment you request it, provided that it is not essential for the performance of established business processes or for compliance with applicable legal, auditing and accounting requirements, as well as for the resolution of claims related to legal exercise or defense in the countries where we do business.


How to obtain information about your Personal Data controlled and/or operated by Sabiá.

And how to modify or delete it:


You have the right to know whether we hold information about you and, if so, the type of information, the purposes for which we hold it, and the possible recipients or types of recipients. You also have the right to access your personal information and to have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incorrect.

You may also use this e-mail channel to request the correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data, as well as request anonymization, revocation of consent, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or non-compliant data.


Upon written request and within a reasonable time, we will correct, delete and/or block personal information from any further use and processing.


In case your Personal Data is operated by us but controlled by our customers, your request will be addressed to the controlling customer.


In addition to e-mail, you may request that we update or delete your information from the e-mail marketing databases we control through the messaging platform we use to contact you for general communications about the agency.


Sabiá’s Privacy Policy Updates:


Sabiá may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in our data governance practices.


The revised Privacy Policy will be posted to this same reference link, with an updated revision date.


We recommend that you periodically revisit this page for the latest information on our privacy protection practices.


If we make a material change to what is presented here, we will post a notice on our social media and have a post on the home page of our website for 30 days. By continuing to access our digital channels after such revision goes into effect, Sabiá will consider that you have read and understood the changes.
