Impactful Communication: How We Support the "Changing My Story" Project in Transforming Lives

How a strategic partnership structured communication, expanded fundraising, and strengthened the credibility of a high-impact social education project.

CONTEXT

O Project Changing My Story (PCS) It is an initiative dedicated to the social inclusion of low-income youth through technical high school. Created by volunteers and alumni of technical schools, the project offers comprehensive support – from the 9th grade to integration into the job market – with a focus on technical education, mentoring, and the development of soft skills.

CHALLENGE

Despite generating significant social impact and growing year after year, MMH faced critical challenges:

  • Difficulty in communicate your impact clearly and professionally
  • Low predictability in fundraising and corporate partnerships
  • The need to promote a culture of donation, still not widely known in Brazil

Without structured communication, the project's growth and sustainability were at risk.

SOLUTION

The Sabiá acted as strategic partner, going beyond ad-hoc execution and helping MMH structure its long-term vision, methodology, and communication.

What we did, in practice:

  1. Strategic Planning and Prioritization
  • Structured brainstorming
  • Mind map of initiatives
  • Feasibility analysis x impact for sustainable decisions

  1. Reusable Communication Structuring
  • Editable templates for social media
  • Institutional materials and corporate presentations
  • Consistent, scalable, and professional communication

  1. Tax Incentive Fundraising Campaign
  • Campaign Creation “Your Income Tax Can Change Lives”
  • Educational materials, calculators, and step-by-step guides
  • Facilitation of the donation process for individuals and companies

  1. Social Partnership through Pledge 1%
  • Project completed pro bono, as part of Sabiá's commitment to social impact
  • Alignment with global corporate responsibility practices

RESULTS

The impacts of the partnership were clear and measurable:

  • R$: 75,000 raised in 60 days, enabling English courses
  • +60 engaged volunteers, many debuting in the third sector
  • 90% Student Retention Rate, even with strict criteria
  • Strengthening of institutional credibility handle MMH with companies and partners

Next Steps

In partnership with Sabiá, MMH is preparing the campaign launch “Being Technical Changes Lives”, with testimonials from leaders such as:

  • CEO of Corning
  • Director of Consulting at Salesforce

The objective is to broaden the visibility of technical education as a driver of social and professional transformation, reinforcing authority and attracting new supporters.

“I thought this dream would be measured by a number, acceptance into technical colleges. How wrong I was! Changing lives isn't about a number, it's about a direction, a path, a view of the world, and most importantly, a look at yourself when you see yourself facing the world.” Alline Tribst, project coordinator.
